After a single listening the new cd achieves her continued inroads to pop music. This outing lacks the surprise refreshment of her previous cd “1989”. She remains an excellent songwriter with a warm acceptable voice. Each tune seems to fall into a predictable sameness.  Yet those irresistible hooks, catchy tunes and clever lyrics make this new cd a comforting listen that will put a smile on your face. Now that it is streaming on Spotify I would check it out and form your own opinion.
