Molly’s Game

Molly’s Game is your typical Aaron Sorkin dialogue packed 2 hours and 15 minutes. Exhausting and pointless until the end when there is some heart and resolution. Way too much narration is suffocating. The story reminds you of Wolf of Wall Street, American Hustle and  American Made. Jessica Christians nails the roll but we’ve seen her run through this type of hard and powerful woman many times before. I will admit that Kevin Costner (as her father) is on a roll after his splendid comeback in Hidden Figures. Count this as a wait until you can stream it.
