Elliot Shoenman’s Paper Walls is a timely play about German Jews trying to emigrate to the U.S. The three of the four actors take on multiple roles which tends to diffuse the drama. Derek Manson & Casey Adler do play brothers effectively. Excellent use of backdrops and scenic projections create a cinematic feel along with short scenes. But overall the play lacks an emotional wallop.
