There is a splendid production of the musical -The Bridges of Madison County playing at the Zephyr. This award winning broadway show-tony award for its score-has two other worldly leads-Kyle Critelli and understudy Rachel Williams. They fully do justice to this complex score by Jason Robert Brown. And wonder of wonder–rather than use taped music-they have a pianist and guitarist! Richard Van Slyke directs this minimalist production stunningly. This show is part of the Chromolume Theatre’s goal of bringing musical theatre gems that deserve a second look to Los Angeles.
