Jake Brasch’s “The Reservoir,” at the Geffen Playhouse under the direction of Shelley Butler is your typical dysfunctional family. The protagonist/narrator is alcoholic Jewish teenager and his relationship with his grandparents. Unfortunately, the supposedly witty dialogue is overplayed by the cast headed by Jake Horowitz.
