Nonnas is the ultimate feel good movie. The story of a staten island restaurant that uses elder Italian women as chefs is a delicious and sumptuous film. Impeccable performances by Vince Vaughn, Susan Sarandon, Talia Shire, Brenda Vaccaro and Lorraine Bracco combined with engaging direction by Stephen Chbosky’s and compelling writing by Liz Maccie makes this a must see experience.
