When I want a good laugh, I’ll watch What’s Up Doc? Comedies are not my favorite genre but What’s Up Doc has my favorite actress/singer of all time-Barbra Streisand and the funniest line in the film is when Barbara says to Ryan O’Neal-Love Means Never Having to Say You’re Sorry and he replies-That’s the dummiest line I’ve ever heard. (alluding to Love Story). Currently the other thing that makes me laugh is writing a standup comedy routine that will be performed on May 14th at 2:30 at the LGBTQ+ Village 1118 McCadden with my other classmates.  I start the set by saying-I was in my improv class and the teacher had each of us go to the front of the class and the students had to give their impression. Well when it got to me, I was shocked when they said I was straight. I thought how could this happen? What did I do wrong? Was it the chemo and radiation to eradicate my throat cancer got rid of my gayness? Was it my macho masculine acting husband infiltrating my system and I need a purging or colonic or even an exorcism? Was it the way I dressed. Plaids and flannel. Had I turned into a straight lesbian!! If I’m not gay-how did I get anal warts?
