Transformation and Acceptance is about two brothers. Josh, a gay HIV-positive man who needs a kidney transplant, and his brother Ben, a homophobic father who has a son that may be gay. Both Ben and his son are matches for the kidney transplant. Not only does the novel lead up to who will be the donor but a revelation by the son, will put into question acceptance and transformation by both Josh and Ben.

Fathers and Other Strangers is a lovely valentine to men who discover later in life, that they have a child. and in particular, a necessary narrative of a happily gay man/dad. I also recommend the audible version. This book should be required in any literature class addressing families structures and should be taught in all lgbtq classes at the university level. Dr Toni.
Lynn Pinchas, a fifty-year-old gay man is approached by a younger man, named Mark, who appears out of nowhere and claims he is Lynn’s son. Is this a scam? Apparently, Lynn’s father had taken him to a female prostitute when he was eighteen to “prove” his son wasn’t gay. Could Mark’s mother actually be this prostitute? Through DNA testing, various scenarios are revealed as to the authenticity of Mark’s claim. And just when you think you’ve figured out the mystery, a fifty-year-old secret held by Lynn’s dead mother is revealed.
This rollercoaster journey delves into Lynn’s abusive father, Jack, along with Lynn’s struggle with his gayness and relationships. If Mark is his son, Lynn ponders what it would be like to be a father

Murder Times Three–How can you have a good mystery unless you involve a cat? And in Murder Times Three, the Waverly Cat may not only solve crimes but she may be a murder suspect!
Riley, an asexual retired fraud investigator, discovers three dead bodies; a father (Ned), his daughter (Millie) and gay son (Conner) who all live in a large mansion called Waverly Place. Their deaths may have been caused by a pandemic, but there is also a suspect — the gay caregiver (Asher) hired to take care of Ned and Waverly Place. During the novel, Asher forms a sexual relationship with both Millie and Conner.
Riley becomes an amateur sleuth with the help of Felix, The Cat, the creator of the podcast, Sofa Investigators. As Riley searches for Asher and finally locates him, Asher awakens Riley’s own suppressed sexuality, and they become lovers. Riley receives assistance from the feline living at Waverly Place who actually witnessed a murder.

The Hermaphrodites-
In the twenty-second century, when the world has been ravaged by chronic pandemics, a combination of vaccines and evolution creates a world populated with hermaphrodites. And these hermaphrodites have a natural immunity against deadly viruses. With death rates outpacing births, hermaphrodites will save humanity from extinction.
There is no distinction between men and women. It is a world of a single sexuality and a single gender. But what if your body tells you something different? What if there is still a spectrum of feelings that you experience where you might have tendencies that lean toward the male or toward the female? The government forbids the removal of any sex organs due to the dictum which states, “If God wants us to be hermaphrodites, we should not tamper with His plan.”
We meet a mixed family, the Winwards, living in the community of Thar who experience the trials and tribulations of life and love. They live in a futuristic world filled with trips to the moon and read-chips that are placed in your eye like contact lenses. Some of these family members are single-gendered, some are hermaphrodite, some are satisfied with their bodies, some are not, and they all struggle to make mixed relationships work.

It’s No Laughing Matter
Wade and Brenda grew up in a house where laughter was forbidden. This restricted childhood stunted their emotions and social skills. Wade convinced himself that having a sense of humor was frivolous. He pursued a career as a mathematician, a dry profession, until he found the benefits of expressing joy later in life. All it took was being trapped in an elevator for four hours with another man! One can learn a lot about oneself (and about that other man) in all that time! Brenda, on the other hand, went overboard wanting to become a world-class comedian. She pursued the life of stand-up comedy, and along the way, she got herself kidnapped and thrown into a cellar! She learned a lot about her kidnapper in all the time that she was tied up and left in the dark. Ultimately, It’s No Laughing Matter takes the reader through a series of harrowing adventures and comes full circle to the realization that there is great therapeutic value in laughter. In fact, there is great therapeutic value in being able to express the full gamut of emotions available to us as expressive human beings.
