Abigail is scary as shit. Thank goodness the violence is cartoonish. Otherwise this vampire film takes us to places we’ve never been before. Loads of surprises. Matt Bettinelli-Opin and Tyler Gillett deliciously direct this horror comedy written by Stephen Shields and Guy Busick. Alisha Weir relishes her role as a kidnapped ballerina. Dan Stevens adds another dimension to his role as the gang leader. Stevens is doing anything he can to erase his role in Downton Abbey. Streaming on Amazon.
