I always wanted to see The Father, the 2020 film where Anthony Hopkins won an oscar and the movie also won for best adapted film. I just subscribed to Starz for a year for $24 and this would be a perfect opportunity to watch this film. Although depressing, the film is excellent and worthy of its Oscar wins. And Olivia Colman shines as the dutiful daughter. There is enough mystery surrounding the dementia that the Anthony Hopkins’ character is suffering from to make for a compelling viewing.
