All the World Besides by Garrard Conley starts out promisingly. This GLBTQ historical fiction takes place in the early 1800’s when Pilgrims were settling in the USA. Overwritten and incomprehensible. Yes Conley has recreated the period impeccably but that’s not enough for this reader.
