Elin Hilderbrand’s The Five Star Weekend has lot to recommend. She is a masterful writer. Dialogue is perfect and the characters each have an arc which is believable. My only quibble is the detail. At first it is fascinating when she describes food, clothing and atmosphere but by the last quarter of the book, it is over-kill. Still a wonderful read.
