Expiration Dates by Rebecca Serle started with a great premise where Daphne, the protagonist, receives a note before she goes on a date, how long the relationship will last. So when she gets a note with no expiration date, well you know where this going. The ending is very predictable. Still, Serle is a good writer and hopefully her next novel will be a return to form that we have come to expect.
