Season 1, Episode 5 of The Sopranos was supposed to be a defining episode that a viewer did not need to know any background of the show to be able to follow it. For me it was a mixed bag. The filming technique seemed out of date. I was most Intrigued with Edie Falco and Paul Schulze. The scenes with James Gandolfini and Jamie-Lynn Sigler did not rock my world.
