The Celebrants by Steven Rowley is good followup to Guncle. The theme of four friends staging funerals prior to their death, has a familar ring to it but Rowley uses his humor to deflect from these mostly unlikeable characters. A flat ending doesn’t do him any favors, yet it was entertaining enough for a recommendation.
