This revisionist version of the Romeo and Juliet story using Pat Benatar songs is filled with energetic dancing and glorious voices. Hearing her iconic songs with different arrangements from their original pressing is a revelation. But somehow the dialogue-plot doesn’t work–resulting in an unemotional response by the end of the intermission less almost 2 hour show.
