King James, written by Rajiv Joseph, premiering at the Mark Taper Forum is provocatively directed by Kenny Leon. The commanding actors- Glenn Davis and Chris Perfetti chronicle a friendship initiated by fanaticism about sports figure LeBron James. This brilliantly structured play is entertainingly challenging-exploring the relationship between a white man and African American man.
