Poem of the Week-Tooth Fairy

The tooth fairy

Took my pain away and

Rewarding me financially

Tooth separating from gum

Hanging by a thread

Throbbing, swelling, aching

Pillow comfort

Dreaming of a quarter

Buying a dream

Waiting for a growth

More perfect or straighter

A permanent solution

Nesting away money

Smiling as the fairy comes to visit

Secretly knowing a parent comfort

Reference the shock of pain equal coins

Teething memories blocked

Enamel flourishing through my mouth

Biting food

Wrapping gourmet tastes

Without needing to smell

My inner fairy beginnings
