The highlight of The Elemental Music concert at Laemmle Live was Mozart’s Clarinet Quintet K. 581. Amanda Walker took her clarinet to holy heights during the genius four movements. Josephine Moerschel brilliantly graced her viola through the treacherous sections. Betsy Rettig was a wonder as she lovingly arched her fingers on her cello. And don’t get me started with the gorgeous sounds Sam Lorenzini and Susan Rishik got out of their violins.
