Dope Queens  takes place in Tenderloin district of San Francisco at an undetermined time period.  The characters are two transgendered people and a gay man. The rambling first act introduces us to the world of prostitution and drug addiction. It’s only in the second act that this theatre piece comes together as the plot propels us to a devastating finale. Layers of the characters are peeled back. The authentic set and fine acting make this a worthwhile visit.
