Poem of the Week-Flooded Lake

Flooding in the Pasadena Lake

Soup plantation bludgeoned my stomach

Lunch errands on Colorado

The Playhouse entertained

Old diverse downtown

Lumbering mansions

Lining the hugging smog

Work memories of Tessie

She donated her dresses to me

Made my 50th and wedding

We colluded to win

My value in action award

Forwarded E-mail praises to

The jury committee

No guilt, no pain

Stomach cancer killed her

A year after retirement

Final words to me

I’m thinned out.
