Smart Love

Smart Love can’t decide if it’s a comedy or drama. The sci-fi premise of bringing a dead father and husband back to life is tricky. Attempts at humor fall flat. Making this an expose on new technology is too farfetched for an audience to grasp. The playwright got boxed into a corner for an ending so the play just stops. Yes, one of those evenings where the perplexed audience doesn’t know if they should start clapping. Not a good sign.
