Poem of the Week-Gushing Wait

Gurgling moisture gushes

Layers of emotional clothing

Mom’s flower print umbrella

Protected a short walk jog

Aching lower back squeeze

Finish an airbrushed fiction

Press the thesaurus for missing links

The dry coffee infested morning

Is gone

Political education is a distant fog

Left-over gluten free bread infected

With just mayo tuna lodges in my wisdom teeth

Turmoiled bulges through the afternoon

Gush rain wait

Waiting

Willing my patience

Lost causation

Let this poem suffice.
