This Disney animated film lacks a strong clear believable focus. The story is all over the map so the friendship between Ralph and Vanellope loses any emotional gravitas. You can give this ambitious project kudos for beautiful animation. The one master stroke is the princess sequence.   Edgy ,hysterical and brilliantly executed. Otherwise this overlong film will have you scratching your head as to what is the point of the story. Sorry but Pixar has set the bar so sky high that our expectations are through the roof for this type of film.
