Cold War is an intimate black and white epic about a Polish love affair from 1949 through the mid-sixties. Gorgeously filmed and acted with an accent on music through those periods. The politics of the era form a beautiful background to this devasting love. The follow up from the director of IDA is a stunner. Good shot at winning Best Foreign Film.
