Another brilliant Laura Lippman novel “By a Spider’s Thread”. This is part of the Tess Monaghan series. The plot revolves around the disappearance of an orthodox Jewish wife and three children. The husband hires Tess and Lippman keeps you brilliantly guessing where all this is heading. She loves detail and having Jewish criminals populate the novel, makes for a gorgeous spin.
