Viper Club is a saturating melodrama that puts Susan Sarandon through the ringer dealing with her son being held hostage by ISIS. Sarandon doesn’t know how to make a false move as an actress. Her large eyes tell you everything you need to know about this woman and her relationship with her son. The familiar territory threatens to derail the film.  But Susan holds the preachy predictable plot together masterfully.
