Who could imagine that a classical and jazz flutist combined with a guitarist would make such magical sounds. From the Piece en Forme de Habanera by Ravel to the History of Tango by Piazzola we were spellbound. The Meditation from Thais by Massenet transported us to heaven. And don’t get me started about what happened when they performed Black Orpheus by Jobim. Sean Stackpoole is the classical and jazz flutist. His lips never failed during the hour performance. Guitarist Kenton Youngstrom made his mystic fingers pluck the life into the eclectic program.
