Despite some good laughs  Candace seems a bit tired. The supporting cast and their related stories were the worst part of the 30 minutes.(especially Grant).  At the guy who plays the son Avery was cute. The Hillary Clinton section was the highlight. On the original Murphy Brown there was a running joke about a new secretary on each episode. Having Ms. Clinton apply for the job is priceless. The political jokes about Trump and social media run thin. When you have daily hysterical commentary about the political climate by Stephen Colbert and Trevor Noah it becomes impossible for a series to compete.  I doubt if I’ll watch again unless there is a special guest.
