OK I guess it was inevitable that the success of “This Is Us” would be copied. The suicide mystery in A Million Little Things is an intriguing hook. “This is Us” freely uses the fluidity of time allowing for dizzying editing and doling out of red herrings. Unfortunately, with this show we aren’t invested in the self-obsessed characters. I will give it credit for having a male breast cancer survivor. The cloying version of “Both Sides Now” leaves a bad taste in your nostrils. Pretty much a miss.
