Jim Carey does his best to try to recreate Fred Rogers of “Won’t You Be My Neighbor” in this quirky new showtime series. Frustrating and precious, yet moments of genuine emotional resonance could save the series. Death and divorce are covered efficiently in the first two episodes. This could be a keeper but you need patience and toleration to continue watching.
