Juliet, Naked which is based on the Nick Hornsby novel, is a gentle romantic comedy. This piffle is the perfect remedy for the late summer blues. Ethan Hawke plays a washed out rock star (is there any other kind?) with such a naturalness and authenticity that it makes the performance glow. Rose Byrne and Chris O’Dowd compliment with spectacular comedic foibles that make this pure entertainment.  The glorious score is filled with original songs that are perfection. Most are sung by Ethan Hawke which gives the film a sweet gravitas.
