Gillian adapted her book and the director is coming off the success of Big Little Lies. This is an intense psychological dysfunctional family murder mystery. Ms. Adam’s compelling performance keeps you anchored. She is on the top of her game. When you think about her canon of work that includes Junebug, Enchanted, The Arrival, The Master, Doubt, The Fighter and American Hustle you realize she literally can do anything.
