Leave No Trace Film Review

This slow deliberative film offers few rewards. But those rewards are so worthwhile. The story of father and daughter off the grid has been done to death. Yet there are three magical segments. First off is a fan dance at the church they visit. Secondly there is a rehearsal for a “rabbit” show at a farm. Teenagers are instructed how to hold rabbits. It is mesmerizing. And finally the section where the daughter is introduced to the “Bee” culture where trust is paramount to avoid being stung. I learned that bees die after they sting someone so they would avoid that at all costs.  When she shares her findings with her father it will make you gulp for breath.
