Observations June 20,2018-Politcal Science

The guest speaker at my Political Science class was Raphael Sonenshein. He is the executive director of the Pat Brown Institute of Cal State University, Los Angeles. He was a superb speaker with a great sense of humor.

With all the political uproar that we are bombarded with, he suggested a solution to process the data. We should focus on what is important rather than the latest tweet, Supreme Court decision, legislation changes, or busted treaty. Hysteria can be paralyzing. We should take care of ourselves. Our political leaders need to see the big picture and prioritize how to make changes. It might take baby steps to fix our broken world.
