Hostage is a strong political drama dealing with the Tehran crisis in the spring of 1980. Skylight theater continues to do exceptional new works. The focus centers around the mother of one of the hostages traveling to Tehran to see her son. Tracie Lockwood nails the animalistic motherhood nature brilliantly. Although not a requirement, I would suggest reading up on the historical background before attending the play. See below Wikipedia write up.
