Poem of The Week-Doris

The 96-year-old virgin Doris Day

Her version of Carousel’s

“What’s the use of Wond’rin’”

Cuts deep with the line

If he’s good or bad

He’s your fella and you love him

Politically incorrect or not

Voice of Que Sera, Sera

Clear bell tones shimmer

The unconditional love of Rock Hudson

As he died pulls at my lungs

Waiting in line at Radio Music Hall

Laughing with 5,000 fans

Squeaky clean but honest under appreciated

Acting chops

Animals championing

Spirit lifting generations
