Poem of the Week-Mindful Dream

Running through the dry wet sand

Heel kicking flakes

Absorbing the breeze as thighs ache

Running into the water like my father

Diving below the clear foam

Hearing the porpoises and dolphins

Singing to me

Snorkeling to witness

Giant sea turtles slowly carrying their 100 years

Peeking at fish schools

Letting the colors illuminate

Seaweed mixed with choral in the misty bottom

Rising for air

Egyptian towel waiting for me

Drying droplets

Browning the sun with #50

Refreshed and climbing to the redwood tops

Effortlessly walking and reaching cotton clouds

Smothering my senses

Viewing the beach

Picking out the shore

My meditation almost finished.

Imagination spent.
