Williams Sonoma offers cooking demonstrations on most Sunday mornings at 10 AM with my favorite chef teacher Kim. Some of the classes are free or a minimal $30.00 charge. I go to the store on 16th and Montana because Montana Street is my favorite walking street in Los Angeles. Mostly homegrown non- corporate stores and restaurants. This past Sunday we were shown how to make sweet and spicy braised chicken. Kim is a superb teacher that explains the why’s of cooking so you can creatively take a recipe and tailor it to your own needs and diet restrictions. I am gluten free and follow the fodmap diet so no soy, garlic, and onion make my cooking a real challenge.
