As if we needed another over the top medical drama, The Resident may fulfill your guilty pleasure watching. The premiere was last Sunday night on Fox with it normally showing on Monday  evenings. The cast is top notch that includes Matt Czurchy from Gilmore Girls and The Good Wife, Emily VanCamp from Brothers and Sisters, Revenge and Everwood, and Bruce Greenwood who loves playing presidents. The series mainly deals with the good ,bad and idealistic doctors. There was enough blood on the first episode that the red cross won’t need any donors.
