This is a gloriously made film that bounces across the screen with a palette of colors that leaves you gasping in awe. Pixar is at the top of their game with this movie that deals with the celebration of Day of the Dead. One caveat relates to the story structure that leans heavily on various sci-fi type rules.  After you die you can visit your relatives if they remember you with a picture placed on your tomb, grave, or crypt. There are additional rules too numerous to mention that threaten the authenticity of the plot. This is a minor issue and shouldn’t impact your viewing entertainment.
