Foxtrot is Israel’s submission  for the Academy Awards. This is a wrenching three part movie about a husband and wife dealing with the “military death” of their son. You will be glued to the screen during this stunningly acted and photographed film. The suspense is unrelenting during the second section that shows daily military life in Israel. It is referred to as a safe routine assignment for the son. Now that Israel is back in the news, the film takes on special meaning.
