Elin Hilderbrand is my guilty pleasure reading experience. Her canon of novels all take place in her home town Nantucket. Even though this isn’t beach weather you will fall in love with her writing and characters. If you want something more in the holiday spirit you can check out her “winter” series of novels. She just released Winter Solstice (Winter Street). You don’t have to start with the original to enjoy this comforting novel.
